How to watch Rangers vs Sunderland: TV, kick off and stream details for pre season friendly

Rangers have been busy in Portugal in every sense. Giovanni van Bronckhorst has been putting his players through their paces in the Algarve heat. And the transfer activity has also been ramped up with Antonio Colak and Tom Lawrence both joining the Ibrox side in their pre-season training camp.

And the Dutchman might even give the new Light Blues boys a first runout, along with John Souttar who signed a pre-contract in January but has now joined his new team-mates, as they kick off their summer friendly schedule with a clash with English Championship new boys Sunderland, now managed by former Hamilton Accies man Alex Neil. Van Bronckhorst will be keen to get a look at his side against a decent calibre of opposition while the players will be out to prove they've looked after themselves in the close-season.

While looking at his own players, the friendly match might also give Van Bronckhorst the chance to get a close up look at Ross Stewart, who is on the transfer agenda. Also in action is likely to be former Celtic winger Patrick Roberts, who penned a new deal with Alex Neil's side last month. Rangers fans will be keen to get a glimpse of their side in action in the Portuguese sunshine and here is everything you need to know.
