It's a case of keeping up the momentum for Rangers as Motherwell are next up for the Ibrox side.
Michael Beale's team haven't had it all their way so far but results are what count and three wins from three have restored some of their swagger. Hibs, Aberdeen and Ross County have all been put down by a single goal and while Beale may be hoping for something a bit more convincing this time out, another three points by whichever way they come will do him nicely.
Motherwell meanwhile let a two goal advantage at home to 10-man Kilmarnock slip. The Lanarkshire club are in danger of being cut adrift of the top six, sitting six points behind St Mirren and just like their opponents when it comes to Celtic, they can't afford for the gap to get much bigger if they want to retain a realistic hope of catching the teams above them in the top half of the table.
