What channel is Portsmouth v Arsenal? Kick-off time, TV and live stream details

Arsenal will be hoping to overcome League One promotion contenders Portsmouth and progress to the quarter finals of the FA Cup.

Mikel Arteta's men have enjoyed relative success in the Premier League recently, most notably thrashing Newcastle United 4-0 at the Emirates.

And this is before the Gunners beat Everton 3-2 on home soil, in a thrilling contest back in February.

But this was marred by their last match when the north London side were knocked out of the Europa League at the hands of Olympiacos, the Greek outfit winning 2-1 and progressing on away goals.

As for the FA Cup, Arsenal have overcome some tricky fixtures to reach this stage.

They beat Leeds United 1-0 in the third round, while they knocked out Bournemouth in the following cup fixture, winning 2-1 with young guns Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah getting on the scoresheet.

Portsmouth currently sit third in League One - and Kenny Jacket's men will be looking to earn a spot in the last eight for the first time since the 2009-10 season, when they reached the final.

When and where is the game?

Fratton Park will play host to the match. Despite its modest 21,000-seater size, the stadium is well-known for its fervent atmosphere.

Team news

The home side are unsure whether captain Tom Naylor and winger Ronan Curtis will be available for the contest.

The pair each received a knock in Pompey's 3-0 win over Rochdale on Friday - but boss Kenny Jackett will be hoping the pair recover in time.

Arsenal will be without Sead Kolasinac and Kieran Tierney, who both have shoulder injuries.

Cedric Soares is out with a knee injury, while Calum Chambers is sidelined for the rest of the season.
