This year’s NBA Draft offers to throw up surprises right from the get-go.

The Atalanta Hawks hold the first pick but with no obvious talent expected to start proceedings, there is a huge amount of mystery heading into the first round in Brooklyn, New York tonight.

French duo Alex Sarr and Zaccharie Risacher are towards the top prospect lists, as well as UConn pair in centre Donovan Clingan and guard Stephen Castle.

It will also be fascinating to see where Bronny James ends up, though the son of the legendary LeBron is seemingly more likely to be called on the second night.
