Celtic of course are the holders and given it was Ange Postecoglou ’s first trophy he won in Scotland, the Greek Aussie will be hellbent on keeping hold of it. But he must first navigate a way past Motherwell.
Steven Hammell’s side will still be smarting at their meek showing against Rangers at the weekend. In truth they offered little resistance to Gio van Bronckhorst’s men and only really got going once 2-0 down at Fir Park. There were signs though that if they believe in themselves a touch more, they could give the Scottish champions more of a problem in this upcoming showdown. The stars of Celtic will have other ideas though.
