What channel is Man City vs Atletico Madrid? Kick-off time, TV and live stream details

Manchester City prepare to welcome Atletico Madrid to the Etihad Stadium for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie on Tuesday, as they aim to edge closer to a second consecutive final under Pep Guardiola.

But their La Liga visitors have already dumped out Manchester United in the previous round and will be confident of claiming their second English scalp this season, as Diego Simeone goes in search of his first Champions League trophy with the Madrid outfit.

The hosts overcame Burnley 2-0 on Saturday to remain at the top of the Premier League, while Atletico defeated Alaves 4-1 on the same day to go 3rd in La Liga.

Team news

Pep Guardiola has no fresh injury concerns following Saturday’s 2-0 defeat of Burnley and he could be tempted to start with the same XI from that game, although Kyle Walker will serve the final game of his three match European suspension.

Nonetheless, the hosts will remain without centre back Ruben Dias, who remains out with a thigh injury, and youngster Cole Palmer (ankle). John Stones, Bernardo Silva and Riyad Mahrez will be pushing for starts, however.

As for Diego Simeone, he also has no fresh injury concerns from Saturday’s league victory over Alaves, although Yannick Carrasco will also serve the final game of his three match European ban for this tie.

Koke and Angel Correa do return from suspension, however, while Hector Herrera remains as the only other absentee in the side. Previous Man City target Joao Felix is set to start, while Luis Suarez will rival Antoine Griezmann for the second striker spot after scoring a brace from the bench at the weekend.
