What channel is Liverpool vs Norwich? Kick-off time, TV and live stream details

Liverpool will hope to carry their successful cup competition form with them into Wednesday night's FA Cup fifth round tie with Norwich City as they look to take a step closer to another trip to Wembley.

The Reds overcame Chelsea 11-10 on penalties to win the Carabao Cup final on Sunday and now aim to achieve more domestic cup competition success with a victory over Norwich at Anfield to book their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

The Canaries are five points from safety at the bottom of the Premier League but will hope to keep their cup run going in order to bring some positivity out of their current season.

They have already lost to the Reds three times in 2021-22, twice in the league and once in the Carabao Cup, and will be keen to not make that a fourth when they make the trip north.

Jurgen Klopp ’s side have already defeated Shrewsbury Town and Cardiff City at Anfield in the two previous rounds, while Dean Smith ’s outfit have seen off Charlton Athletic and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Team news

After their Carabao Cup victory following 120 minutes of football and a penalty shoot-out on Sunday, Jurgen Klopp can be expected to rest some of his key players for this tie in order to freshen things up in his squad.

Luckily for the German, he will have plenty of options at his disposal and has just two players out through injury, with Thiago (thigh) joining Roberto Firmino (groin) on the sidelines after injuring himself in the warm up ahead of Sunday’s Wembley showdown.

As for Norwich, they could continue to be without six members of their squad from the 2-0 defeat to Southampton on Friday, although Jakob Sorensen (knee) will undergo a late fitness test to determine his availability.

Former Liverpool loanee Ozan Kabak (shoulder), Max Aarons (knock) and Brandon Williams (knock) are all doubts, while Adam Idah (knee) and Andrew Omobamidele (lower back) are ruled out.
