UEFA Champions League football returns to Anfield for the first time in more than three months when Liverpool host Inter Milan in the second leg of their Last 16 tie on Tuesday.
The Reds head into this fixture with a 2-0 lead from the first leg and will look to produce another positive performance and result in order to progress to the quarter-finals of the competition.
But their Italian opponents will be out for revenge and will not go down without a fight, as they look to turn the tie on its head and avoid an early exit from Europe’s elite competition.
Inter have won just one of their last five league matches to surrender their lead at the top of Serie A and will want to ensure that they do not let the Champions League slip from their grasp either.
Jurgen Klopp ’s side are coming off the back of a 1-0 victory over West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday, while Simone Inzaghi ’s outfit dispatched Salernitana 5-0 in Serie A on Friday night.

Team news
Jurgen Klopp is likely to stick with the majority of the same side that beat West Ham at the weekend, although he may well be able to welcome back all three players who missed out on Saturday.
Joel Matip should return to the matchday squad after missing out through illness at the weekend and he may well be joined by both Roberto Firmino (groin) and Thiago (thigh), although the pair will face late fitness tests to confirm their availability.
As for the visitors, they have had an extra day of rest following their game on Friday and could well stick with the same lineup, especially with Lautaro Martinez up front following his hattrick in the 5-0 rout of Salernitana.
The Italians will be without Nicolo Barella, however, who is serving the second game of his two match European ban, while Ivan Perisic could also miss out once again due to muscular overload.
