Arsenal will head to Liverpool on Sunday afternoon with a healthy advantage at the summit of the Premier League.
The Gunners' lead at the top has been cut to five points following Manchester City's emphatic 4-1 win over struggling Southampton on Saturday evening, but Mikel Arteta's side know that victory at Anfield would re-establish an eight point cushion ahead of the final weeks of the title run-in.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are bidding to keep their faint Champions League hopes alive but know only a win will do against the current Premier League leaders following a string of rotten results over the past few weeks.
The Reds will be out for revenge, too, after losing the reverse fixture 3-2 earlier in the season at the Emirates Stadium. They could welcome Luis Diaz back into the fold and Virgil van Dijk has recovered from the illness which caused him to miss the midweek draw with Chelsea. Thiago Alcantara could also make his comeback in Sunday's match.
Arsenal will be buoyed by the return of star man Bukayo Saka, who started last weekend's 4-1 win over Leeds on the bench due to illness. It remains to be seen, though, if Saka will be joined by William Saliba or Eddie Nketiah with both still nursing back injuries.
The Gunners have wretched record at Anfield and will be aiming to record their first win at Liverpool since a 2-0 triumph back in 2012: a match in which current Gunners boss Arteta actually played in.
