Champions League football has made its return this week and Liverpool prepare to face Inter Milan in the first leg of their Last 16 tie at the San Siro on Wednesday night.
The Reds finished top of Group B with a 100-per-cent record from six matches earlier in the season and will be keen to go all the way in this competition again following their 2019 triumph.
Inter will provide a tough test, however, and the Italians currently sit second in Serie A but just one point behind AC Milan, who were defeated twice by the Reds in the group stage.
Simone Inzaghi’s side finished as runners-up in Group D behind Real Madrid, finishing on 10 points after winning three, drawing one and losing two of their six games.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are coming off the back of a 1-0 win over Burnley in the Premier League on Sunday, while the Nerrazurri drew 1-1 with title rivals Napoli on Saturday.

Team news
Inter have a relatively fit squad to choose from ahead of this clash and manager Inzaghi is set to be without just a few of his players on Wednesday night.
Nicolo Barella will miss both legs after picking up a red card against Real Madrid in December, while Joaquin Correa and new signing Robin Gosens remain sidelined as they continue to recover from their respective thigh injuries.
Jurgen Klopp saw the rest of his absent players return to the squad over the weekend as Liverpool overcame all their recent injury issues for the trip to Burnley.
This means that Klopp will once again be operating with a fully fit squad for this Last 16 clash, although a late fitness test will determine Jordan Henderson's (knee) involvement, while new signing Luis Diaz is eligible to feature under the new rule changes to the competition, despite already featuring for Porto in the group stage.
