The 2022 Ulster Senior Football Championship gets underway on Saturday evening with the meeting of defending champions Tyrone and Fermanagh at Brewster Park.
Back in September, the Red Hands clinched their fourth senior All-Ireland title with a five-point victory over Mayo.
Since that success, it has been well-documented that seven players have left the panel for various reasons, but the strength-in-depth of Tyrone’s squad will come into sharp focus in the coming weeks.

They managed to avoid relegation from Division One thanks to back-to-back wins over Mayo and Kerry.
However, they are set to be without both Peter Harte and Mattie Donnelly for the preliminary round clash with the Erne County.
Kieran Donnelly’s men were in the hunt for promotion from Division Three right up until the penultimate round when they drew with Westmeath in controversial circumstances.
A Sean Quigley score was ruled wide and Fermanagh will need to reach their first Ulster final since 2018 if they are to avoid playing in the inaugural Tailteann Cup this season.
