Billy Dodds and John McGlynn will be looking to make history for their clubs today as they aim to reach the Scottish Cup at Hampden Park next month.
Inverness Caley Thistle and Falkirk will lock horns at the national stadium this lunchtime in what is expected to be a very competitive affair with both teams eager to make it to the showpiece in June to take on either Celtic or Rangers. Glasgow's big two will play in the other semi-final at Hampden tomorrow lunchtime.
The Highlanders head into the game today in fine form as they arrive in Glasgow on a seven-game undefeated run which has seen them leap up to third in the Championship table. While Dodds will want to focus on promotion all eyes will be on Falkirk for the former Dundee, Rangers and Aberdeen striker.
For Falkirk they come into the game on not the best form despite winning 4-1 last time out against Alloa Athletic. In their last seven games they have drawn four, lost one and won two. Not the best form when going into a semi-final or a play-off push back to the Championship. McGlynn will look to ignore that and get the Bairns back to a final for the first time since 2015 when they lost to today's opponents 2-1.
