After five perfect games, England's Under-21 team need just one more victory to be crowned European champions.
Lee Carsley's Young Lions won all three group games without conceding a goal. A 1-0 victory over Portugal followed, and then Israel were despatched for a second time in the semis as Morgan Gibbs-White scored the first of his team's three unanswered goals.
Things are unlikely to be straightforward in the final, though, with Spain putting five past Ukraine in their own semi-final. Something's got to give in the battle between two unbeaten sides, and thanks to a late change on the scheduling front it will be available to watch in the UK.
The two teams have met on three previous occasions. The last came in 2009, with England victorious en route to the final of the same competition.
When is England U21 v Spain U21?
England's under-21 side will take on their Spanish counterparts at 5pm UK time on Saturday, July 8. England's two previous knockout games kicked off at the same time.
Georgia and Romania have served as joint hosts of the tournament. England have played all their games in Georgia, with all of Spain's in Romania, and the final is being held at the Adjarabet Arena in the Georgian city of Batumi.

While the earlier rounds were only available on UEFA TV, a deal has been struck to bring the final to Channel 4. Coverage will begin at 4.45pm, with Jules Breach presenting and Steve Bower on commentary, and viewers with a TV licence will be able to watch via their TV or via streaming.
“Channel 4 has brought a number of historic sporting moments to a free to air audience in recent years and we’re delighted that the nation will be able to watch England’s Under-21s as they attempt to make their own bit of history against Spain on Saturday," Channel 4's chief content officer Ian Katz said.
”The Young Lions final will be part of a bumper weekend of sport on Channel 4 with live coverage of qualifying for the British GP earlier on Saturday and the Grand Prix itself on Sunday," he added. The grand prix qualifying will immediately precede the football, beginning at 2pm.
How they got there
England finished bottom of their group in 2021, but made no mistake this time around. They posted a perfect group stage record with victories over the Czech Republic, Israel and Germany, and have still yet to concede a goal.
Spain won their first two group games, against Romania and Croatia, before drawing 2-2 with Ukraine. They needed extra-time to beat Switzerland in the quarter-finals but swatted Ukraine aside 5-1 in the semis despite falling behind early on.
England's squad contains a number of Premier League stars, including big-money creative players Morgan Gibbs-White and Anthony Gordon. They will have to make do without Jacob Ramsey, though, with the Aston Villa midfielder suffering a broken metatarsal earlier in the tournament.
Their squad includes a number of full internationals, including the tournament's joint-top scorer Abel Ruiz. The Braga forward has three goals in the tournament, as does Manchester City left-back Sergio Gomez, who plays further forward for his country.
