A place in the Ulster minor football championship is on the line as Cavan take on Derry today.
Derry got to this stage thanks to 2-11 to 1-09 victory over Donegal in the quarter-finals but it came at a price as their captain and talisman Ryan McNicholl was forced off with a season-ending injury.
The injury came after McNicholl scores a sensational goal, and the loss of the young Glenullin player is a big blow to Derry.

But they should be inspired by the senior team who are into the Ulster final themselves in what seems to be a really promising period for Derry football.
