What channel is Celtic vs RB Leipzig? Live stream, TV and kick-off details for Champions League clash

It's a now or never situation for Ange Postecoglou's Celtic side. Lose against RB Leipzig, and their Champions League dream will be all but over barring a miracle. Win, and they'll be right back in the hunt to secure qualification to the knockout rounds.

A measly, disappointing second-half display in Leipzig last Wednesday set the tone for a 3-1 loss in east Germany to leave Celtic bottom of Group F, three points behind Shakhtar Donetsk in second. The scoreline ultimately flattered the Glasgow giants with their second half performance being one of the worst yet under Postecoglou, with the Australian admitting himself that it wasn't good enough.

But with Real Madrid taking all three points in each of their three group games, it remains a three-way battle at the bottom of the group for knockout qualification and even Europa League redemption for the side that fails to finish at the tail-end of the standings. A Celtic win would take them above their opponents and level with Donetsk, which would set up a grandstand finish with the Ukrainian side with Igor Jovicevic's men still yet to come to Celtic Park.

One upside of Leipzig's visit is that Celtic will be buoyed by the Germans' poor form in their visits to Scotland. A 2-1 loss at Parkhead back in 2018, whilst they lost 3-1 at Ibrox last season as Rangers progressed to the Europa League final, falling at the final hurdle against Eintracht Frankfurt. That in itself will give the Celtic Park crowd a sense of optimism, belief and confidence that they can garner a strong result against the dangerous outfit.
