Antrim hurlers take on Dublin in their first home game of their Allianz Hurling League Division 1B campaign at Corrigan Park.
Darren Gleeson’s side were unbeaten in their three League fixtures at the Whiterock Road venue last season as they retained their top flight status thanks to wins over Clare and Laois and a battling draw against Wexford.
Away from home, however, they struggled to replicate that form and they lost out to Dublin in the League and again in their Liam MacCarthy Cup clash in Navan.
That 18-point loss left Antrim needing to win a relegation play-off, but they suffered a six-point defeat to Laois and will compete in the Joe McDonagh Cup later this summer as a result.
Last weekend, they made an encouraging start to their 2022 League schedule with Kilkenny having to pull out all the stops to claim a narrow 2-15 to 3-9 win at UPMC Nowlan Park.
Mattie Kenny’s Dublin had to settle for a share of the spoils with Waterford last Sunday following a thrilling draw at Parnell Park.
