What channel is Aberdeen vs Rangers? Live stream, TV and kick-off details for Scottish Premiership clash

All roads point north for Rangers over the festive period and it's Aberdeen up first as the Light Blues aim to keep their title ambitions just about alive over Christmas before hosting Celtic in the New Year.

Ji Goodwin has some making up to do after his side were booed off against Celtic at the weekend. Callum McGregor's late goal was enough to take all three points back to Glasgow, but the Dons mustered just two attempts on goal in an ulta defensive display that left the home punters less than impressed. For Michael Beale it's all about momentum in his second competitive game in charge and there is no margin for error as they sit nine points adrift of the leaders and their bitter rivals.

The gap could be cut to six with the pressure put back on Ange Postecoglou's side ahead of their Wednesday night showdown with Livingston, but the Dons will look to cause the Ibrox side problems. Aberdeen still sit in third place in the Scottish Premiership table as they look to at least finish best of the rest but Hearts are now just a point behind the Reds so they are starting to feel the heat.

Rangers were held to a 1-1 draw on their last trip to Pittodrie at the start of this year and it was a result that came during a spell that eventually saw them surrender their league crown. Now the Light Blues can't afford any more slip-ups if they want to have any realistic chance of winning the title this season. Here's everything you need to know about the big game.
