It is something that is almost inevitable. Driving in Nottingham in rush hour will almost certainly lead to your journey being delayed.
The number of cars on the roads continues to increase across the county and our city is no different. Whether it be the morning commute into the city centre or - perhaps even worse - trying to get home of an evening, most of us will encounter delays.
The queue on the A610 and Alfreton Road heading out of the city centre to the north is matched by that on the A52 through Bramcote and Stapleford. Problems have been worsened by works getting underway on a 16-week scheme to install a new bus lane on the A610 Cinderhill on Monday.

A lane on the A610 heading out of the city is closed around the Cinderhill roundabout while works are carried out. The works have led many to question what can be done to solve traffic issues in the city.
