Everton chairman Bill Kenwright stopped to speak with frustrated supporters following Saturday's 1-0 home defeat to Aston Villa.
The Blues, looking to get back on track following the dismissal of Rafa Benitez, were beaten by Steven Gerrard's side after a first-half header from Emi Buendia.
This result has further extended Everton's dismal run of form which has left the club just five points clear of the relegation zone.
After the match, fans in the Gwladys Street and Park End stands staged a sit-in protest to voice their anger at the current situation.

'Sack the board' was the cry from those inside the ground, though were also supporters desperate for answers outside Goodison Park who approached Kenwright for comment.
In a video shared on social media, the Blues chairman can be seen stopping to listen to the thoughts of the fans as they chanted, 'let go if you love the club', in his direction.
After hearing this being sung, Kenwright responded by asking, 'how would that help?'
One supporter fired back, 'because we need a proper board', while another in the distance added, 'we don't want Martinez'.
Roberto Martinez, the former Everton manager, has been under consideration to replace the sacked Benitez.
A second video featuring supporters and Kenwright later emerged, during which '27 years!' was repeated by those present to highlight the club's long-wait for silverware.
The 76-year-old, in an attempt to calm the mood, said: 'It's not 27 years - we've had some good times'.
This statement was not well-received, however, and led to one individual sarcastically saying 'good times? Yeah, you've had some good times!'
