What Bengals are saying about Titans going into Week 4

Like the Tennessee Titans, the Cincinnati Bengals are hoping to get to .500 on Sunday afternoon when the two teams meet at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

This will be the third meeting since 2020 between these two teams, but the Bengals have had the Titans’ number, winning all three.

Ahead of the matchup, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor touched on the Titans’ defense, which he said is like the ones his team faces in the AFC North.

“It feels like playing an AFC North team when you play these guys. I remember first feeling that in the playoffs a couple of years ago against them,” Taylor said, per Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. “Their defensive line is really impressive across the board and with the depth. They’ve got guys that impact the quarterback and impact the run game. They’re No. 1 in the league against the run – yards per carry – that shows up on tape.”

Now, a look at what else the Bengals are saying about the Titans.

“It will get better each week I don’t have a setback,” Burrow said, according to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. “It’s big to get through Monday without any setbacks. That means it will be stronger this week and if I get through this week without having any setbacks, it will be stronger the next week. All you can do is rest it and take time. But I’m going to continue to play and continue to practice and it will get stronger throughout the year.”

“If you allow him to break through the line of scrimmage, it’s a real problem,” Taylor said, according to Bengals.com. “Once he gets moving, it’s like a freight train.”

“We’re going to have another great D-tackle we’re going against this week in (Jeffery) Simmons. Obviously, a different style,” Karras said, per Bengals.com.
