Interim Rangers head coach Barry Ferguson has revealed what he told his players before their 2-1 defeat to Motherwell yesterday afternoon.
For the second game running, the Ibrox side went 2-0 down before halftime as goals from Luke Armstrong and Tom Sparrow put the visitors ahead.
Despite showing some signs of a potential recovery in the second 45, ultimately, it wasn't enough, and Ferguson's men faltered to a third home defeat in a row.
Speaking after the game, the interim boss revealed that, pre-match, he told his men to show some grit because the supporters would appreciate it: "I said to the players, 'The fans will go with you if you show passion,' and I didn't see as much of that as I wanted to," he told BBC Scotland.
