Arsenal players were quick to celebrate with Granit Xhaka as he opened the scoring against Wolves on the final day of the season. It was the first of a quickfire double for the Swiss midfielder who was playing in what is expected to be his last match for the club.
Xhaka is set to complete a move to Germany at the end of this season as he enters the final 12 monhts of his Arsenal contract. It was a dream start to the day, if it is to be his last.
Gabriel Jesus' run down the right was met by his teammate's back-post header to the jubilation of the home crowd and the Arsenal XI. As he looked around after the goal, the 30-year-old was quickly mobbed by his teammates in a massive group hug next to the goal.

The players then appeared to send a contratularory and final farewell message to him by patting him on the head with happiness. There were also plenty of Xhaka scarves in the crowd, a sight that many wouldn't have predicted just over 12-months ago.
He was then in dreamland just minutes later after making it 2-0. Bukayo Saka's jinxing run was played into Martin Odegaard who flicked the ball Xhaka's way. His finish was all that was needed to send everyone into a joyful meltdown.
In celebration of the goal he then sprinted over to the bench, high-fiving a member of the coaching staff before being greeted by Mohamed Elneny. The pair then embraced with a hug before the rest of the team joined him to mark a special moment on a special day.
