The Boston Celtics suffered another loss in Las Vegas Summer League, highlighting the lack of impact players on the Sin City Celtics’ roster which might not surprise given the parent club’s continuing team. Jordan Walsh showed promise in the first game with his 3-point shooting but struggled in the second game due to a knee contusion and tighter defense.
Justin Champagnie had a solid performance overall and stood out among the players in the Washington Wizards loss. There is potential for Walsh to earn playing time with the Celtics based on what we saw, but Delano Banton’s status is uncertain moving forward due to an undisclosed injury.
