Each season, the already-awe inspiring scoring capabilities of Boston Celtics All-Star forward Jayson Tatum seem to take another big step forward, and with the way he has been putting up huge point totals of late, that trend seems to be continuing apace.
Already having scored as many 50-point games as a Celtic in the regular season as the player he is tied with for the team’s single-game scoring record — Hall of Fame forward Larry Bird — the St. Louis native could very well break that record before the 2022-23 season starts. For those who chronicle his game, putting together a high-scoring list is always a potentially fraught affair given he seems to force a re-assessment of that list every few weeks.
