The critically acclaimed 64-year-old will be a guest announcer on Ant and Dec's show. The Saturday night programme is hugely popular with its audience, particularly for the pranks the presenting double act play on famous people.
When will Richard E. Grant be on Saturday Night Takeaway?
Millions of people tune in every week to watch the pair's antics. Richard E. Grant is scheduled to join the fun in tonight's episode (Saturday, March 12), according to the Radio Times.
Grant will follow in the footsteps of stars such as Ru Paul and Paloma Faith, who have taken on the guest announcer role before. The actor is set to narrate the show from an elevated platform with an old school microphone.
Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway will be broadcast at 7pm on ITV One on Saturday, March 12. You can also watch the series via the ITV Hub.
But next week (Saturday, March 19) there will be a change to TV schedules, with Ant and Dec's show cancelled for one week only. The episode will be delayed by a week, so ITV One can broadcast England vs France in the Six Nations between 7.15pm and 10.30pm on ITV One.
