What are King Charles, Prince William and other members of the royal family wearing for Queen Elizabeth's funeral

On Monday, September 19, King Charles III and other members of the Royal Family walked behind Queen Elizabeth III's coffin at her state funeral. They are wearing military uniforms, reflecting their service in the Armed Forces, or honorary military titles they have been awarded.

However Prince Andrew and Prince Harry, both of whom engaged in active service, will not be wearing their military uniforms for the Queen's funeral. Instead, Her Majesty’s son and grandson will wear civilian funeral attire, with their medals.

The service is being broadcast live with millions watching around the world. A national bank holiday was declared after the monarch's death on September 8, aged 96. This morning the coffin was taken in a grand military procession from the Palace of Westminster to Westminster Abbey for the state funeral at 11am. Following the service, there will be a procession through parts of London before the hearse reaches the Queen's final resting place at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
