Heung-Min Son has revealed what Tottenham manager Antonio Conte said to him after he was substituted in the 72nd minute against Arsenal.
Spurs started the game on the back foot before being awarded a penalty after Cedric fouled Son in the penalty area, leading to Harry Kane converting from the penalty spot to make it 1-0. The Gunners' night got worse as Rob Holding was sent off for a second booking after fouling Son as the South Korea international made a run through towards goal, with Kane adding a second goal of the night just minutes later.
Son bagged his 21st goal of the Premier League campaign just two minutes into the second half after the ball fell to him in the box before he fired the ball into the far corner past Aaron Ramsdale. Son was visibly annoyed with Conte's decision to substitute the in-form forward with 18 minutes to play and has revealed what the Italian said to him after he left the pitch for Lucas Moura.

Son closed the gap to Mohamed Salah in the race for the Premier League golden boot and is now just a single goal behind the Liverpool forward. The South Korea international had an eventful game after being involved in a few altercations with Holding in the first half before scoring Spurs' third goal early in the second half.
After the game, Son said: "I mean obviously I want to play always, but what can I say, he is the manager. It is the gaffer's decision and I need to accept that.
"He said we have an important game on Sunday, so it is no big deal. I am not angry, I am just disappointed because I came off."
Spurs are now just one point behind Arsenal in the Premier League after the 3-0 win in the north London derby, with games against Burnley and Norwich still to come. Son could lead the goalscoring charts in the Premier League after the weekend with Salah and Liverpool playing in the FA Cup final on Saturday afternoon, whilst Spurs host Burnley on Sunday afternoon, meaning two goals from Son would put him top of the Premier League goalscoring chart.
