Spence deal agreed
Tottenham are just an announcement away from securing promising fullback Djed Spence as Antonio Conte rapidly closes in on a sixth summer signing of the window.
Spurs had been linked with Spence for several months towards the end of last season and have finally agreed a deal for the 21-year-old as he completed a medical at Hotspur Way on Friday afternoon.
Conte still refused to pass comment on Spence during his pre-match press conference ahead of today's game, but football.london understands that for all intents and purposes, Spence is a Spurs player.

£103m boost
The deal to bring Spence to the club, which football.london understands to be an initial £12.5m which could rise to £20m, has seen Tottenham consolidate their position in the top 10 most valuable squad list.
In front of both Manchester United and Arsenal, Spurs have the fourth most valuable squad in England after their impressive summer transfer window.
With Richarlison and Yves Bissouma adding nearly £80m to their value, Spurs are competing with Europe's elitist clubs on this metric.

Kounde setback
Just one day after being linked with a move to Spurs, Jules Kounde's future has taken another twist with Chelsea reportedly raising their interest for the player once again.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Chelsea's decision to end their pursuit of Nathan Ake means that Kounde could become a top target once again. This would damage Spurs as they still look to bring in defensive reinforcements in the preparation of losing Japhet Tanganga or Joe Rodon this window.
