The signing of Aaron Ramsdale in the summer of 2021 by Arsenal was seen as an interesting one by many in the footballing world after the Englishman was coming off the back of a difficult season with Sheffield United. However, he has proven to be an excellent signing for the Gunners and his latest act will no doubt make him even more loved.
Ramsdale joined the Gunners last August after suffering Premier League relegation with the Blades and went on to make 39 appearances in between the sticks as Arsenal finished fifth in the league which saw them qualify for the Europa League.
Back up goalkeeper Matt Turner had been the man deployed in Arsenal's Europa League campaign but Ramsdale was given his European bow in the 2-0 defeat to PSV and then also started the Gunners final Europa League group stage fixture against Zurich on Thursday evening.

Ahead of the clash with Zurich, the BT Sport cameras caught the 24-year-old signing the lyrics of 'North London Forever'.
The song by Louis Dunford, who was born and raised in north London, has become a popular pre-match anthem for Gunners fans who bellow out the chorus as their team emerge from the tunnel at Emirates Stadium.
The lyrics for the songs are as follows:
North London forever
Whatever the weather
These streets are our own
And my heart will leave you never
My blood will forever
Run through the stone
Ramsdale continued to show why he is so well-liked in north London when after Kieran Tierney scored the opening goal in their match against Zurich, Ramsdale ran from his goal to celebrate with the Scotsman and his teammates.
