‘What a signing’ - Newcastle United supporters' delight as Matt Targett transfer confirmedtargett

Newcastle United have confirmed the permanent signing of Matt Targett from Aston Villa, for a reported fee of around £12million.

The 26-year-old has signed a four-year deal at St James’ Park after impressing on an initial loan spell during the second half of last season. He played 16 times for the Magpies as they climbed the table and finished in 11th place.

Once the signing was announced, Newcastle fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
