'What a player' - Chelsea fans react to Jamal Musiala's stunning display for Germany vs Japan

Bayern Munich and Germany superstar Jamal Musiala starred for his nation in their World Cup opener against Japan.

Musiala was a part of the Chelsea academy from 2011 until 2019 when he left at just 16 years old to join the Bundesliga giants. The 19-year-old is considered one of the best talents in Europe having already scored 12 goals and provided a further 10 assists in just 22 appearances for Bayern so far this season.

His form has earned him a place in Hansi Flick's 26-man Germany World Cup squad as DFB-Team aim for a much better tournament than their previous two. Musiala opted to represent his country of birth at international level despite being able to represent England and the 19-year-old is flourishing for both club and country.
