Alejandro Garnacho's Manchester United teammates have heaped praise on the teenager after his 93rd-minute goal saw Erik ten Hag's side beat Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage.
United left it late to secure all three points, as Garnacho scored his second goal for the club in dramatic fashion to send his side into the World Cup break on a high. Christian Eriksen opened the scoring for the Reds in the 14th minute, as the Dane got on the end of Bruno Fernandes' cross to the back-post to net his first goal for the club.
Fulham came back into the match as time went on, and it was former Red Dan James who brought the two sides level on the hour-mark, following his second-half substitution. As the clock ticked down, it appeared that Ten Hag's side were set to walk away with just a point, until Garnacho's vital intervention.
The 18-year-old burst into the box and got ahead of Bobby Decordova-Reid using his lightning acceleration, before cooly firing past Bernd Leno in goal with a left-footed strike to the bottom corner. Garnacho wheeled away in jubilant celebration, as the full-time whistle confirmed United would be taking all three points back to Manchester.
The rest of the squad joined in with Garnacho's wild celebrations on the pitch, but have now also taken the opportunity to show their appreciation for the youngster's match-winning strike after the game. David de Gea, Diogo Dalot and Amad were among those to take to social media following the win against Fulham.
