Around 20,000 music lovers per day will be flocking to Nottingham's Splendour Festival for fun and frolics with Madness, Sam Ryder and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. That many people inevitably means long queues. Queues to get in, queues for the loo, and queues for food and drink.
But there's one way to avoid all that, if you've got the cash to splash out on a VIP ticket. Adults can pay £180 for the two-day event at Wollaton Park, on July 22-23, or £115 for one day. Youngsters, aged 11 to 17 can also be a VIP to for £140 or £90.
If you live within the city there's discounts for residents, bringing the price down to £162 for adults and £126 for the youth ticket for the weekend, or one day £103.50 and £81.

But what exactly do you get for paying a premium price? To start with there's fast-track entry to the festival with a dedicated VIP lane.
VIPs get a spot in the exclusive garden area on the top of the hill in the shadow of Wollaton Hall. The luxury retreat has a big screen and private seating away from the crowds, so there's no need to worry having having to secure a spot early.
As for the toilets, they're described as "luxury", equipped with mirrors and fragrant hand wash. VIPs still have to pay for food and drink but they can look forward to gourmet street food vendors, while the bar is doubling in size, with a variety of cocktails on offer.
New this year, an exclusive wine bar will be providing premium wines throughout the weekend. Other perks include loads of fun for children with a host of entertainment, free activities, garden games and interactive performances.
A spokesperson said: "Our VIP area is a hidden paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the festival. A VIP ticket will give you access to a wide range of luxuries that will make this year’s festival a truly special experience that you’ll never forget."
