The demand for kerbside eating shows no sign of wavering as London’s newest street food instalment is set to open in Canary Wharf next week.
Wharf Kitchen will launch at Jubilee Place on November 29, offering an eclectic mix of food and music.
Nestled among the shops and cafes in Canary Wharf, the indoor market will be open from 8am - 8pm on weekdays, seeing hungry Londoners through from breakfast to dinner. At weekends it will start a little later, at 10am, and will close at 7pm on Saturdays and 6pm on Sundays.
Street food vendors confirmed for the launch include raw bowl specialists Ahi Poké, fried chicken experts BIRD and Caribbean favourites Mama’s Jerk, alongside the Athenian, Rainbo and The Vurger Co.
Wharf Kitchen will also be home to the Paleo Supply, a new venture from Protein Haus founder Carli Wheatley, which offers grab and go food and personalised meal plans.
The new food hall will have capacity to seat up to 80 people and will host live music and DJs on Thursday and Friday evenings.
