Fans were evacuated from the main stand of Chadwicks Wexford Park after a fire broke out ahead of the Allianz Hurling League clash between Wexford and Galway.
Thankfully, nobody was hurt in the incident and the game eventually threw-in at 5.15pm, fifteen minutes later than initially scheduled.
At 4.21pm, 39 minutes before the game was set to start, Wexford GAA posted a tweet saying that the game was delayed and that a 'fire officer' was being consulted.

"We have a slight safety concern at Chadwicks Wexford Park and are awaiting advice from Fire Officer. Mains power is also out. We will have further updates as soon as available," read the post.
A quarter of an hour later, Wexford released another statement on Twitter confirming that the game would throw-in fifteen minutes later than originally scheduled.
When the game finally got under way, Galway got the better of their hosts and took home victory in the Allianz League Divison One clash, a game which also acted as the Walsh Cup final.
