Wexford GAA spent just under €1 million preparing their inter-county teams this year.
The final figure of €955,000 was up €520,00 on the 2021 spend.
Meanwhile, Meath GAA also spent just under €1 million on preparing their inter-county sides in 2022 - a record for the Royals.

Galway recently became the first county to crash through the €2 million barrier, while All-Ireland football champions Kerry spent €1.45 million preparing their inter-county sides this year.
Meath's investments in adult, underage and development squads was offset by the county’s commercial income for the year more than doubling, to just over €820,000.
Meath GAA posted an overall surplus of just under €450,000 after local gate receipts came in at over €660,000 - another record for the county.
Wexford recorded a net surplus for the year of €652,000, with just under €440,000 of that pumped into upgrades at Chadwicks Wexford Park.
Model chiefs commercial income rocketed through the €1 million barrier, coming in at just over €1.125 million - up over €350,000 on last year’s figure.
In line with other counties, Wexford’s local gate receipts soared, going from just over €500,000 to just over €830,000.
€250,000 was pumped into coaching and games development in Wexford, up over €100,000 on last year’s figure.
Wexford secretary Michael Hennessy-Cullen said: “GAA continues to be on a sound financial footing which is essential given the upcoming investments of €4 million into infrastructure projects, and €1 million into games development and coaching as outlined in our Strategic Plan.”
Meanwhile, Meath secretary Mairead Delaney hit out at some of the reaction to Andy McEntee's decision to leave the senior post after six years.
"The abuse and vitriol from so-called supporters was disgraceful," she said.
"People should remember the amount of time and commitment given by the players, manager, selectors, backroom personnel and administrators is enormous."
