A Wetherspoons employee has revealed two common mistakes punters make when paying a visit to their local boozer from the chain - including a toilet-based error.
TikTokker Jenna Elizabeth (@jen.elizaabeth) recently shared a clip with the caption "I have more stories, these are my two favourites".
She went onto speak about life working in a Wetherspoons pub, giving her own "point of view".
Jenna acted out two common scenarios that often happen whilst working for the high-street chain.
The first mistake that customers make is when ordering a vodka, lime and soda. She explained it was all a matter of phrasing.
In a skit where where she pretends to converse with the customer, the person asked Jenna: "Hi, please can I have a vodka, lime and soda."
"Yeah, of course you can. I’ll get that for you now, that’ll be £3.65 please," Jenna replied as herself.
However, when she handed the customer their drink, they responded with: "That’s not a vodka, lime and soda."
In response, Jenna confirmed: "Yeah it is, it’s a vodka, with lime cordial and soda."
What the customer had actually meant to to order was a "vodka with soda and a piece of lime".
However, that is nothing compared to one which is considerably more awkward.
While working one shift, Jenna revealed she heard the toilet alarm go off.
Rushing in to check if the customer was okay, she asked: "Is everything ok in here sir?"
The customer told her he was not able to flush the toilet.
Jenna explained: "Ok, that’s not a reason to ring the emergency alarm but the flush is just on the side of the toilet."
To this, the customer awkwardly replied: "Oh right, thank you."
The stories clearly tickled many as it has now garnered over 60,000 views on the social networking app, along with almost 3k likes.
Many fellow Wetherspoons workers completely agreed, saying they could relate to what she said in the comments.
Others could not believe how embarrassing the toilet situation would be, imagining if it were themselves.
One person said: "The toilet one is so embarrassing. I’d leave and never come back."
Another added: "Honestly! Spoons customers are on another level of irritating."
