Wetherspoon is selling pints for £2.15 - but only for a limited time

Wetherspoon punters will be able to pick up a pint for just £2.15 starting this week.

The deal will be available across a selection of 30 ales as part of the pub chain’s Real Ale festival, which runs from March 22 to April 2.

Of the 30 ales that will be available, 24 will be newly brewed specially for the festival - including some from brewers in counties such as Switzerland, USA and Belgium.

Vegan and gluten free beers will also be on sale as part of the festival collection.

However, it is worth noting that prices may differ between Wetherspoon pubs, depending on where in the UK you live.

The average pint is expected to be less than £3.

Wetherspoon operations director, Martin Geoghegan said: "The festival is a great celebration of real ale.

"It will allow our pubs to showcase a selection of superb beers over a 12-day period, at great value for money prices.

"It will also give our customers the opportunity to enjoy a number of beers which have not previously been served in the pub, including those from overseas."

It comes after Wetherspoon hiked prices across a range of its popular drinks and menu items.

Prices have gone by around 7.5% which adds up to 29p on a pint and around 75p on food.
