Weston McKennie traded Turin for Leeds during the January transfer window, and the USA international has admitted he still has trouble dealing with the 'god awful' weather in West Yorkshire.
McKennie joined Leeds from Juventus on loan until the end of the season with an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.
He has quickly established himself alongside long-time friend and fellow compatriot Tyler Adams in the heart of midfield. But after growing up in Texas, and spending the last three years in Italy, McKennie is most definitely looking forward to the nicer weather.

“Those are the things I’ve noticed. It’s a faster pace, it’s more physical, it’s a bit less technical than Italy, but those are the same things I’ve noticed that are different, and the weather, the weather is god awful,” McKennie told the Indirect Podcast.
“I’m a Texas boy who has been living in Italy for a while with good weather, but here I’m begging to see sunlight for just 10 minutes per day.”
