A street lighting upgrade scheme on the A12 Westlink will begin later this month and is expected to last twelve weeks.
The scheme within Broadway Underpass will involve the replacement of the existing underpass lighting with a new energy efficient dynamic LED Tunnel Lighting and Control System.
A series of overnight closures, in each direction, of the underpass between 11pm and 6am from Monday to Friday will be necessary in order to complete the scheme safely.

The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) said it has carefully planned these works and associated traffic management arrangements in order to minimise inconvenience to the public, however road users should allow additional time when planning their journeys.
The works will start on Monday, July 24, with completion expected by October 13, subject to favourable weather conditions, however, the Department has said it will keep the public informed of any change.
