Westlife star Mark Feehily selling his stunning Lake House on Sligo shores of Lough Gill

The source of inspiration from one of Ireland’s greatest poets can be yours for a hefty €1.15million.

Westlife star Mark Feehily is selling his Lake House on the shores of Lough Gill, Co Sligo, which was once the location of W.B.Yeats’ The Lake Isle of Innisfree, and has served the singer as a getaway since he bought the pad in 2006.

This spacious four bedroom house covers about 1.32 hectares (3.28 acres) of landscaped lakeshore grounds, and holds lake views.

Built in the 1970s, the house has undergone refurbishments to give a split level onto the sloping site.

At the ground level, there is a hallway, study and large garage, whereas the first floor contains the main living areas that extend out to a decking terrace overlooking the lake.

And in the basement, a wine room.

Sellers Sherry Fitzgerald said: “The house is elevated, giving a sense of floating over the water.”

Hurry to beat the competition if you can afford it.
