West Side Story star Rachel Zegler slammed a troll who said Halle Bailey shouldn't be Ariel from Little Mermaid.
Ever since Halle was revealed to be Princess Ariel in 2019, racists have been protesting against the upcoming live-action movie with online complaints.
The trailer for the movie was released earlier this month, and trolls have gone out of their way to tweet #NotMyAriel due to Halle's race.
And now, one user pitted Rachel and Halle against each other as the user discussed their Disney roles.
Rachel, who is of Colombian and Polish descent, was cast as Snow White in the upcoming 2024 musical.
"Hey @disney, I actually think that @rachelzegler is a good choice for the role of Snow White because she looks just like her," the troll wrote.
"But @HalleBailey is #NotMyAriel. She can be the Little Mermaid on Broadway if she wishes, but not in a movie."
Rachel wasn't having any of the user's unnecessary criticism and took to the tweet to respond to him.
"If you don’t support my girl Halle, who is the perfect ariel, you don’t support any of us," she said.
The Little Mermaid, which is set to be released in 2023, is the live-action remake of Disney’s original 1989 musical animation.
The movie also stars Javier Bardem as King Triton, Melissa McCarthy as Ursula and Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric.
Halle previously discussed the importance of the movie to her.
She told E News in a recent interview: “I love this movie so much, and I’ve treasured it since I was a little girl.
"I did put a bit of pressure on myself just because I want to deliver all of the feels that I saw when I was a little girl."
Following the release of the trailer, parents have been sharing the incredibly moving videos of their daughters reacting to it.

"I think she’s brown," said a girl, who was in awe, in a video that has been liked over 800,000 times.
The little girl then brings her hand to her chest and adds: "Brown Ariel. Brown Ariel is cute."
Halle was sent many of the reactions and took to her social media to thank everyone for the support.
"People have been sending these reactions to me all weekend and i’m in truly in awe [heart emoji]," Halle wrote.
"Seeing these little babies reactions makes me so emotional, this means the world to me, thank you all for your unwavering support."
