West Norwood shooting: Man 'shot at petrol station' is fighting for life

A man in his 20s is fighting for his life after he was shot in south London, police say.

It is believed he was gunned down at a petrol station in West Norwood last night. 

Lambeth MPS tweeted: "Police were called by London Ambulance Service at 21:45hrs on Sunday, 17 November to Beulah Hill, near the junction with Knight's Hill, SE19, following reports of a shooting.

"Officers attended and found a man aged in his 20s suffering from a gunshot injury.

"He was taken to a south London hospital, where his condition is thought to be critical but stable.

"The incident is thought to have happened at a petrol station and the victim was discovered further down the road.

"Crime scenes and road closures are in place. Enquiries continue.

"Anyone with information or video/ images that could assist police are asked to call 101 ref CAD 7330/17 November."
