West Lothian youth football team get star treatment as comedian presents them with new kit

Blackburn United Girls under-14 Whites were given the star treatment when club sponsor iSafeGas brought famous comedian, and employee, Gary Faulds to a training session.

iSafe Director, Scott Smith, said: “iSafe Gas are delighted to sponsor the girls’ strips for the upcoming season.

“As a company, we rely on local communities to support us and it is important to us that we support others in the right way.

“Blackburn have a great community ethos throughout the club, and there are a lot of girls here loving taking part.”

Andy Miller, manager of the girls’ team, added: “We cannot express our gratitude to Scott, and iSafeGas enough for the sponsorship.

“If companies like these didn’t take an interest, we would find it very difficult to raise enough funds to even kit the girls out for games.

“The added bonus was Gary turning up to help out which was a fantastic gesture from him and the girls were so excited to meet him.”
