A delighted Siannon Ramsay, Acting Principal Teacher at Southdale Primary and Cluster Lead on the project, said: “We are delighted to be among the first in Scotland to achieve the Cluster Digital Schools Award.

“It is an amazing achievement for all of the young people in the Armadale cluster and all the staff within our schools to be recognised for the outstanding work they do using digital technology to enhance learning and teaching.”

She added: “We enjoyed a wonderful celebration event with all of the schools involved, with certificates given to children representing each school to mark the fantastic achievement.”

In every school, the validators were impressed with how confident the pupils were in using digital skills to effectively support their learning.
