A popular pub is the toast of the town after being named the Best in West Lothian.
Platform 3 in Linlithgow triumphed in the National Pub and Bar Awards, winning the title of one of the best bars in South East Scotland.
The annual event named a total of 94 venues around the UK as the best in their respective counties, aiming to highlight the positive and inspiring work being carried out across the UK’s hospitality industry.
And Platform 3 was the only winner from West Lothian.
The pub said it was delighted to be named best in the county.
Manager Tracy Pascall said: “It’s always great to be recognised for all the hard work we do. It’s pretty incredible and really exciting to be put forward for the Pub and Bar awards.
“It was such a surprise getting the email to say we’d won the West Lothian area of the P&B Awards. The staff all work really hard to make sure Platform 3 is somewhere you want to keep coming back to. It’s been a challenging time recovering after covid and now with the cost of living crisis and rising costs, it’s an even harder time to be in the hospitality trade so to be recognised by the Pub and Bar awards is just fantastic.”
It’s great to be acknowledgement for the hard work we do. We may be a small pub and team but we work hard to make sure everything is to a high standard and the customers are happy and everyone - be it regulars or visitors feel welcome.
“To get this award means that all the hard work we do is worthwhile.”
