A nursing home manager from Livingston has been recognised within the industry after winning a top award.
Matthew McCanny, manager of Randolph Hill nursing home group’s Kirk Lane Nursing Home, was named Positive Impact award winner at the recent Scottish Care Awards.
Matthew received a number of glowing testimonials for his uplifting contribution towards residents, families, staff and the wider community served by Kirk Lane.
This included one from resident Chris Cosgrove, who asked Randolph Hill to nominate Matthew for looking after her so well since arriving at the home.
She also attended the awards dinner and ceremony, where she was overjoyed to see Matthew receive his award.
