West Lothian musician Luke LaVolpe is more excited than ever to perform at Scotland's biggest festival this year, TRNSMT, after pulling out in 2021 due to a coronavirus outbreak.
Luke, who hails from Bathgate in West Lothian, has released the second single, Sit at My Table, from new EP Lifelines, which will be available to fans on July 15.
The singer is 'buzzing' to play at TRNSMT this year, after a Covid outbreak in his touring crew meant that he was unable to perform in 2021.

Luke said: "Everybody thought we were winding the fans up, and decided to have a mad party instead of performing at the festival!
"I was devastated that I couldn't perform last year, it would've been my TRNSMT debut and I was really looking forward to it - but we had to put the health of each other, and the other affected acts first.
"Honestly, it has worked out for the better, as I now have lots of new songs to perform, and I have definitely grown as a performer as well.
"But, if you had asked me at the time if I would not play in 2021, just to have a better slot and more songs this year, I'm not sure I would have agreed - I was extremely disappointed."

Luke is also appearing at a sleuth of smaller festivals this summer, including Belladrum, Edinburgh's Over the Bridge festival in July, and the infamous Party At The Palace in Linlithgow.
He will also be supporting Lewis Capaldi, his close friend, at Lytham Festival on Wednesday June 29, and has stressed the importance of supporting smaller festivals and playing at low-capacity venues.
Luke continued: "It's so important to keep supporting small venues and festivals - without them, I wouldn't exist!
"I'm at a good stage in my career right now where I am still relatively unknown, and I'm constantly trying to get new listeners - the best way to do this is to play in new places to new people!
"That's why I'm playing at the likes of the Over The Bridge festival and so on, I don't have as many Edinburgh-based fans, so I'm trying to branch out and find new people to love my music.
"It's always a slow-burn type of progression, I have the loyal fans that have been here from the start, and those who have heard me at a festival and decided to jump on the LaVolpe train!
"It's such an incredible feeling, and I will forever continue to support and play at every small venue and festival I can - I needed them to get where I wanted to be, and they'll do the same for other smaller artists like I used to be."
Luke LaVolpe will be appearing at Edinburgh's Over The Bridge Festival on Sunday, July 31, and tickets are still available for the three-day festival in Stockbridge, here.
