A West Lothian mum has managed to completely transform her family's council home in just one week.
Thrifty mum Sarah McLeod, from Livingston, moved into a two bedroom home with her daughter after spending a year in temporary accommodation.
After finally picking up the keys to their new house, the savvy parent spent a week of early starts and late finishes so it could be completely transformed before moving in day.

She documented the progress of her renovation on her TikTok @gingersaz, where people praised her for the transformation.
Sarah began by getting rid of the "ugly textured wallpaper", which she managed to do with no problems at all thanks to a handy wallpaper steamer stripper, reports the Mirror.
She made a lot of progress on day two, stripping the rest of the wallpaper and painting the ceiling and skirting boards.
At the end of day three, she had successfully finished painting one of the rooms a light grey colour.
It was time to tackle the kitchen on day four, as the beige paper from the walls was stripped and the appliances were installed.
Both bedrooms were almost complete too by the time she clocked in for the night.
"It's finally coming together," the mum said when the plush grey carpets were fitted on the fifth day of the renovation.

However, she was still struggling to progress in the bathroom as she said it was the "worst to strip by far".
Despite being forced to give up on the bathroom, day six was a "win" as the flooring in the kitchen had been fitted - and it looked great.
Another wrote: "Aww this looks amazing congratulations on your new home honey."
A third commented: "Well done, you have made a beautiful home for your babas."
