A man in West Lothian was taken to hospital after sustaining 'serious head injuries' on Tuesday night.
The incident, which is being treated as a serious assault, happened at around 7.20pm in the Elizabeth Drive area of Bathgate. The man was then taken to St John's Hospital in Livingston.
Police are now looking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward. They're specifically interested in a red Honda Civic that was inn the area at the time.

Detective Sergeant Keith Sinclair said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone with information to get in touch.
“We are also keen to speak with anyone who witnessed this attack or has dash-cam footage from being in the area at the time that may assist us.”
